Our School previously issued the Announcement on Funding for the First Batch of 2026 Students of XJTU for Global Exchange Studies(https://jsdi.xjtu.edu.cn/en/info/1009/1389.htm). To expand the coverage of undergraduate international academic exchanges, the University has specially allocated an additional 10 overseas exchange funding quotas. The funding standards, general application eligibility, review procedures, reimbursement and management rules specified in the original notice remain unchanged and will not be restated here. Relevant special requirements for this supplemental application round are notified as follows:
I. Basic Requirements for Supplemental Applications
1. Eligible Applicants: Full-time undergraduates majoring in science, engineering, agriculture or medicine only.
2. Exchange Duration: The overseas study period must exceed 3 months.
3. Departure Deadline: Applicants must complete their overseas departure by August 31, 2026 to qualify for these supplemental quotas.
4. Eligible Exchange Channels: Both university-unified exchange programs and self-arranged overseas study opportunities are acceptable for application.
5. Pre-application Requirement: Interested students shall submit advance reports covering destination country and personal basic information and pass preliminary qualification review before submitting formal application materials.
II. Application Materials and Submission Deadline
Applicants shall submit both hard-copy and electronic materials simultaneously. All materials must be handed in by July 6, 2026; late submissions will not be accepted.
1. Hard-copy Materials: Download and complete the Application Form for the Undergraduate Overseas Exchange Special Fund of Xi’an Jiaotong University(Annex 1), and submit the printed version to the Office of Cooperation and Development of XJTU-POLIMI Joint School (1st Floor, Milan Building, Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbour).
2. Electronic Materials: Fill out Annex 1 in full together with the Summary List of Recommended Students for the 2026 XJTU-POLIMI Joint School Selection of Undergraduates for Overseas Exchange Funding (Annex 2). Attach official Chinese academic transcripts and English proficiency certificates, then send all documents uniformly to jsglobal@xjtu.edu.cn.
III. Supplementary Remarks
1. All application materials must be authentic and complete. Any falsification of materials will result in disqualification from application and disciplinary penalties in accordance with relevant university regulations.
2. Rules regarding funding disbursement, overseas administration and eligibility revocation shall be implemented in accordance with the original notice.
3. The number of supplemental quotas is limited. Eligible students are advised to prepare materials well in advance and submit them on time.
