To standardize the selection of outstanding graduation projects for the 2026 cohort, set academic models and recommend candidates for university-level recognition, the school will organize a special defense evaluation for outstanding graduation projects. The evaluation will comprehensively assess project completion quality, innovation level, practical value and on-site defense performance. Relevant arrangements are announced as follows.
Ⅰ. Quota Allocation
1. One project will be recommended for university-level outstanding graduation project, with a number of school-level outstanding projects to be selected.
2. Eligible candidates are students ranking top 20% in their initial defense groups with a score of no less than 90 points.

1. Time: 14:00, Thursday, June 18, 2026
2. Venue: Conference Room 101, Milan Building
Ⅲ. Defense Procedures
1. Each candidate shall deliver a self-report within 7 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session with the evaluation panel.
2. All participants shall submit defense PPT and electronic graduation project files to ruixue_wong@xjtu.edu.cn before 11:00 on June 18, and arrive at the venue 10 minutes in advance.
