To facilitate the postgraduate recommendation assessment for the 2027 undergraduate cohort and clarify valid competition categories for non-recommendation cohorts, the school launches the pre-accreditation work for competition bonus points. Detailed arrangements are announced as follows.
Ⅰ. Accreditation Criteria
1. Category A and B competitions shall be accredited in accordance with the University’s Measures for Encouraging Students to Participate in Academic and Scientific Competitions (XJTU Academic〔2016〕No.40), with final results subject to the confirmation of the University Practical Teaching Center and Youth League Committee.
2. Category C+ and C competitions: The 2022 Architecture cohort and 2023 Industrial Design cohort shall follow the School’s Administrative Measures for Student Academic and Scientific Competitions (XJTU Design〔2024〕No.6); the 2023 & 2024 Architecture cohorts and 2024 Industrial Design cohort shall follow XJTU Design〔2026〕No.2. The school is responsible for the accreditation.
Ⅱ. Application Requirements
1. Postgraduate recommendation candidates (2023 Industrial Design & 2022 Architecture) shall fill in the School Competition Bonus Point Application Form; non-recommendation students applying for Category C accreditation shall fill in the Category C Competition Accreditation Application Form.
2. All application packages (forms + award certificates) shall be named in the format of “Application Type + Grade + Major + Name” and submitted to lijunnan@xjtu.edu.cn before 24:00 on June 15, 2026. Paper signed forms shall be submitted to Office 102, Milan Building.
3. All submitted information and supporting materials must be authentic, complete and consistent. Falsification will be regarded as disciplinary violation.
Ⅲ. Follow-Up Arrangements
1. This application only accepts awards obtained before June 1, 2026. A second round of application will be launched for awards obtained before the official postgraduate recommendation.
2. The accreditation standards for Category C competitions will be dynamically adjusted according to university policies, competition rankings and industry influence, and finalized by the School Competition Management Committee.
3. All application materials will be uniformly reviewed by the committee before postgraduate recommendation, with final results publicly announced.
