To promote the high-quality development of Sino-foreign cooperative education and build an interdisciplinary, intelligent and international textbook system, the school launches the 2025 textbook construction project application. Relevant arrangements are announced as follows.
Ⅰ. Guiding Ideology
Adhere to moral education as the fundamental task, integrate Chinese educational concepts with international advanced teaching methodologies, and cultivate interdisciplinary talents with global vision and innovative capabilities.
Ⅱ. Construction Principles
1. International Dual Co-Construction Principle: Develop Chinese-English bilingual textbooks integrating Chinese educational norms and Politecnico di Milano’s innovative design theories.
2. Interdisciplinary Collaborative Innovation Principle: Break disciplinary boundaries and build project-driven interdisciplinary teaching resources.
3. Intelligent Digital Transformation Principle: Develop interactive digital textbooks integrated with VR, AR and AI technology.
Ⅲ. Construction Categories
1. Frontier Innovative Textbooks for Design and Architecture: Focus on intelligent construction, digital design and sustainable urban development, forming international high-quality teaching resources.
2. AI-Enabled Intelligent Design Textbooks: Integrate artificial intelligence with design disciplines, build industrial case libraries and dynamic knowledge graphs for intelligent design education.
Ⅳ. Quality Assurance and Application
Professional review and multi-dimensional evaluation will be conducted for all textbooks. Approved textbooks will be published officially and recommended for various teaching achievement awards to expand academic influence.
Ⅴ. Application Qualifications
1. Applicants with teaching experience in the school, good political literacy and professional ethics.
2. Solid academic foundation and rich textbook compilation experience.
3. No overdue unfinished textbook projects; each applicant can undertake only one project simultaneously.
Ⅵ. Application and Review Process
1. Applicants shall submit electronic and paper application materials to the school before October 28, 2025.
2. The school will organize expert review and publicize the approved project list before signing project task agreements.
Ⅶ. Project Management
1. Construction period: 2 years from project approval.
2. Funding standard: 100,000–150,000 RMB for key projects; 50,000–100,000 RMB for general projects.
3. Dynamic funding adjustment and phased inspection mechanism are implemented for project quality control.
