"Innovation · Future" Second Academic Exchange Seminar in the Field of Electronics and Information Held

In the afternoon of December 9, 2024, the Xi'an Jiaotong University-Milan Polytechnic Joint School of Design and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as "XJTU-Milan School") hosted the second "Innovation · Future" academic exchange seminar in the field of electronics and information at the Milan Building meeting room in the Innovation Harbor. Giovanni Ennio Quattrocchi, a faculty member from the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering at Milan Polytechnic University, along with Li Yaochen, an associate professor from the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and six graduate students participated in the seminar.

During the seminar, faculty and students from both universities introduced their respective research teams and fields, sharing the latest research projects and achievements in areas such as distributed system operation management, artificial intelligence and machine learning, blockchain automation and applications, 3D human body reconstruction and behavior recognition, and computer vision and pattern recognition.

Following the presentations, participants engaged in lively discussions on the shared research outcomes and delved into the development trends and potential collaboration directions in the field of electronics and information. Both sides expressed that this academic seminar provided a valuable opportunity for exchange and cooperation, and they look forward to achieving more substantive collaborative results in the future through joint research projects and graduate student exchanges.
