The joint school has built the tripartite “XJTU + Polimi + Industry” partnership and cooperated with 10 enterprises to jointly construct student off-campus practical education bases. Centering on the transformation of students’ innovative achievements, the school has delivered remarkable results in the industrialization and intellectual property conversion of student creations: four course works have been commercialized, six patents are under application, and intellectual property rights of five competition works have been fully transferred. To support the implementation of the tripartite collaborative training mechanism above, the joint school has deepened industry-university cooperation by building stable off-campus practical teaching platforms. Up to now, a total of 10 specialized practical teaching bases have been jointly set up with diverse enterprises and institutions, covering sectors such as automobile manufacturing, cultural heritage architecture, transportation consulting, medical equipment and architectural design. Our key cooperative partners include Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group Co.,Ltd., Daming Palace Research Institute, CCCC First Highway Consultants Co .Ltd, Shanghai Hyp-arch Architectural Design Consultant Co.,Ltd., China Northeast Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch and Huajiao Zhaojing Medical Devices Co., Ltd., as shown in the pictures below.
