一、会议简介 CONFERENCE INTRODUCTION
城乡历史建成环境的可持续保护与再生是人居环境建设的重要内容，也是推进人居环境高质量发展的重要抓手。正确认识文化遗产的价值，尊重其固有特性和基本保护原则，同时发挥其在建成环境中的社会、文化和经济作用，是城乡历史建成环境可持续保护与再生的重要议题。西安交通大学和米兰理工大学联合召开“第一届城乡历史建成环境的可持续保护与再生国际会议”，热忱欢迎从事文化遗产及建成环境研究和实践的专家学者参会。通过会议研讨希望能揭示城乡遗产在促进历史建成环境以及当地社区居民振兴过程中的重要意义和作用。
The sustainable conservation and regeneration of historic built environment constitute crucial elements in the construction of urban and rural living environments, and are also key drivers for advancing the high-quality development of living environments. Properly recognizing the value of cultural heritage, while respecting its intrinsic nature and foundational conservation principles, and leveraging its social, cultural, and economic significance within the built environment is a significant topic in the sustainable conservation and regeneration of historic built environments. Xi'an Jiaotong University and Politecnico di Milano have jointly convened the "First International Conference on the Sustainable Conservation and Regeneration of Historic Built Environment in Urban and Rural Areas" warmly welcoming experts and scholars engaged in research and practice related to cultural heritage and built environments to participate. The initiative focuses on the significance of cultural heritage in defining economic processes geared towards the revitalization of rural villages and historically-rooted urban areas, as well as the revitalization of local communities.

七、论文征集 CALL FOR PAPERS
大会将于2025年6月12-14日举办专题会议，届时，相关专家、学者、遗产地管理者和历史建成环境专家将有机会通过口头报告的形式来共享相关工作和研究成果。
From 12 to 14 June 2025, the symposium will offer researchers, scholars, heritage site managers, and specialists in historic built environments the opportunity to present their work and research through oral presentations.
八、投稿指南 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
会议接收围绕论坛主题相关的投稿，稿件摘要及全文请通过Microsoft CMT系统提交。投稿时请先注册CMT并登录账号，选择“First international conference on the sustainable conservation and regeneration of historic built environment in urban and rural areas 2025”。具体可参阅提交系统详细指南，全文模板见附件。
The papers related to the Forum theme will be accepted. Abstracts and full manuscripts should be submitted through the Microsoft CMT system by registering for CMT, logging into your account and selecting“First international conference on the sustainable conservation and regeneration of historic built environment in urban and rural areas 2025”. Specific information please refer to Submission guide, and the Full paper template is attached.
九、投稿要求 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1）稿件必须为全英文书写。
Submitted papers should be written in English.
2）所有稿件应为原创且未公开见刊的，论文需要符合主题、论据充分、具备实用价值和创新性。
All manuscripts should be original and unpublished. Papers need to be relevant to the theme, well-supported by evidence, practical, and innovative.
3）投稿的文章由评审专家进行评估，评估内容包括原创性、技术或研究的内容和深度、会议主题相关性、贡献性和可读性。
Submitted articles will be evaluated by review experts. The evaluation criteria include originality, technical or research content and depth, relevance to the conference theme, contribution, and readability.
4）稿件摘要字数控制350-500字以内，全文篇幅在8-12页之间，含公式图表、参考文献和附录等；会议录稿件不少于8页，图书稿件不少于10页。
The abstract should be within 350-500 words, and the full text length is generally between 8-12 pages, including formulas and charts, references and appendices. Minimum 8 pages for proceedings manuscripts and 10 pages for the books.
5）摘要格式不限，全文要求使用统一模板采用Springer模板撰写（全文模板见附件），以Doc、Docx、PDF任一格式提交。
The abstract format is not restricted. The full text must be written in a uniform style using the Springer template (full text template see attachment) and submitted in either Doc, Docx or PDF format.
6）作者可通过查询系统自费查重，重复率不得超过20%。
Authors can check for plagiarism by themselves through the query system, and the plagiarism rate must not exceed 20%.

If your article is accepted, we will notify you by email.
十、出版信息 PUBLICATION INFORMATION
稿件将经过同行评审进行筛选，入选论文将被会议论文集收录；稿件择优推荐选入书籍《历史建成环境的可持续保护与再生》，稿件须紧密围绕分议题内容，应具有较好的创新性和科学性。论文集与图书的稿件互不重复，均由Springer出版，由EI数据库收录。
Manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and the selected papers will be included in the conference proceedings; excellent manuscripts will be recommended for inclusion in the book 'Sustainable Conservation and Regeneration of Historic Built Environments', which should be closely related to the content of the sub-themes and should be innovative and scientifically sound. The proceedings and book manuscripts will not be duplicated, and both will be published by Springer and included in the EI Database.
