Mario Bisson

Mario Bisson, associate professor at the Milan Polytechnic, is a member of the Department of Design.

He has taught a number of subjects in the School of Design since 1996/97, such as Product Design, Color and Perception, Visual Elements for the Project and Morphology of the Components.

He collaborated from 1987 to 2005 with Prof. Attilio Marcolli, focusing on research in Architecture, Urban Planning, Design and Art.

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Degree Course in Product Design at the School of Design and is also a member of the Scientific Technical Committee of the Institute of Color.

Furthermore, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Polidesign Company.

Since 2000, he has been Scientific Director of the COLOR Research Laboratory of the Department of Design of the Milan Polytechnic.

In 2014 he founded the Mediterranean Design Association, an international association focused on Environmental Design.

In 2016 he was promoter and co-founder of the interdepartmental laboratory ED-ME Environmental Design and Multisensory Experience of the Polytechnic of Milan, of which today he is Scientific Director.

He has taught in numerous design schools including the Polytechnic School of Design and the European Institute of Design. He has several publications in the field of Design.

He is responsible for the double degree in Design which partners the Polytechnic of Milan with the Architecture and Urbanism College, University of São Paulo.

He has carried out extensive research and provided advice to national and international structures.
