Xue Pei(裴雪)
PhD in Design, Assistant Professor, and member of the Design + Strategies
research group at the Department of Design at Politecnico di Milano.
Her research mainly focuses on applying design (thinking) approaches and methods, as a strategiccatalyst, for fostering innovation in organisations in both private and non-profit sectors. Particularly, her research interests are design for organisational change, strategic design for corporate social impact, and design for systemic transition. Currently, her work addresses the development of design-driven strategies to transform the furniture sector through servitization towards sustainability and circularity.
She is experienced in working with interdisciplinary and interculturalteams. In the last five years, she has participated in several EU co-funded research projects (e.g. Co-Create, CREA summer academies) and international research projects (e.g. Longevicity - social inclusion for the elderly through walkability). Besides, she has also co-led a number of strategic and service design projects for clients in diverse sectors, including NTT Data, Magis, KUKA home, Midea, Chicco, Fondazione Cariplo, and Universities.
She has given lectures at many design schools both in Europe and Asia and published articles in international scientific journals and conference proceedings.
